Sutera as a Featured Study

logo_265x107Each month, the +Society for One-Place Studies features a registered study on their website. I am delighted that the webmaster selected Sutera to be the featured study for May 2014.

The Sutera study is, despite being an interest for at least the last twenty years still evolving. It has been very much slower to progress that the other two studies I registered with the Society.  The slowness because of a mixture of logistics, language amongst other things, but the focus, certainly of late has been to capture some of the more recent events and archive them.

My next plan is to transcribe the various records I already have and add the details to the Sutera Master Index. I also want to focus on the geological dimensions to the study. At the moment I am content with sharing the material via this blog and using "the cloud" for the master indexes and do not see the current need for a website, but if you disagree, please let me know, leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Sutera San Paolino L'acchianata

A L'acchianata translates from Sicilian dialect and means in English climbing. This demonstrates an ancient pilgrimage.
